All candidates pursuing the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership play a pivotal role as catalysts for change within their organizations.<\/p>\n

At the University of La Verne\u2019s LaFetra College of Education, we empower doctoral candidates to move beyond theory and create actionable solutions that address real-world challenges in education. Through our innovative Problem of Practice (POP)<\/strong> approach, candidates develop sustainable plans that can transform their schools, districts, and the broader educational landscape.<\/p>\n

From their very first semester, candidates are paired with a dedicated POP mentor who guides them throughout their program. Together, they identify a tangible, actionable issue within their organization or community\u2014one that resonates deeply within the context of education.<\/p>\n

Through comprehensive research and data collection, candidates explore their chosen problem from multiple perspectives, integrating practical experience with academic frameworks. Working closely with their mentor, they analyze the data, synthesize findings, and design an actionable plan aimed at achieving immediate and long-term impact.<\/p>\n

This transformative process culminates in a presentation of their plan to their regional cohort of faculty and peers, fostering collaborative insights and feedback.<\/p>\n
