Elevate your career in P-12 education with our EdD in Educational Leadership program at the University of La Verne. This innovative two-year, stackable program is designed for current educational leaders, including administrators, district leaders, and teacher leaders.

Tailored Learning for Working Professionals

Our program is designed to meet the needs of busy working professionals. Admission to the program requires either a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential (PASC) or a Master’s degree in the field of education, which can be completed at the University of La Verne or earned from another accredited institution. The core of the program is delivered online, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities while advancing your education. Additionally, you’ll engage in a dynamic in-person summer intensive, providing an opportunity to connect with peers and faculty in a collaborative learning environment.

Focus on Practical Solutions

The Ed.D. program culminates in a Dissertation in Practice that addresses a Problem of Practice. You will research a real-world issue within your P-12 setting and develop innovative solutions and systems to address it. This hands-on approach ensures that your learning is directly applicable to your professional context, empowering you to make a tangible impact in your educational community.
