For those interested in teaching infants through preschool-age children, we are pleased to offer a non-degree accelerated pathway. This pathway will deliver the required child development courses to earn a California Child Development Teacher’s Permit. A reduced tuition rate has been developed for partnerships with school districts, Head Start agencies, and private schools
These courses meet the Early Childhood Education unit requirement for the Child Development Teacher Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). Upon completion of the CTC requirements, students will receive assistance in applying for their Child Development Teacher Permit through the CTC.
24 units can be applied to a BS in Child Development.
